Waseem Ismail, Director of Group Tax Compliance & Reporting, displayed his changemaker qualities by going above and beyond, taking on responsibilities outside of his day-to-day role to support the integration of an acquired business into Apex Group - working on several tax projects to drive efficiencies within the combined systems.
In his personal time, Waseem is active in the disadvantaged communities in Cape Town. He works with Friends in Giving, a non-profit organisation, which provided clothing for 250 children in Cape Town during Eid.
Waseem lives the values of a Changemaker daily, with the word ‘proactive’ coming up in reference to him time and again. His bold efforts continue to drive positive change both in our business and his wider community.
