Apex Group’s expanding Global Compliance Solutions team provides clients with tech-enabled compliance and AML solutions to meet their operational and regulatory obligations across international financial hubs. This agile, global single-source solution delivers efficiency, simplifies compliance and enables business opportunities from regulatory licensing support through to ongoing compliance advisory for existing and future regulatory requirements.
The launch of Compliance Solutions in the Singapore market will help to address clients’ risks and concerns around ESG, climate and environmental risk AML & compliance and emerging technologies such as digital/crypto assets, and artificial intelligence in financial services. Apex Group’s solutions are directed to meet market demand in four key areas:
- ESG & Sustainability Compliance: Compliance & AML solutions covering policies, compliance monitoring, ESG governance, systems and controls, integration of ESG, sustainability, environmental crime risk, climate related risk and compliance, supply chain due diligence, ESG data compliance, and green KYC.
- Fintech Compliance: Solutions supporting compliance for emerging innovation and technologies, such as robo-advisors, digitalised wealth managers. This includes tech-enabled managed due diligence services, automated AML, KYC and FATF Environmental Crime AML and creation of Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT) integrated solutions.
- Digital & Crypto Assets Compliance: Solutions to support the growing use and adoption of digital and crypto assets. This includes due diligence of Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) and Crypto Asset Service Providers (CASP), crypto and digital assets risk management, specific AML business risk assessments and blockchain-enabled ESG management and services, including identifying and monitoring sustainability commitments, portfolio allocations and measurement of impact.
- Global Compliance: Supporting clients with day-to-day compliance including AML needs, risk management, compliance monitoring programs and training including AML & CTF, ESG and Environmental Risk Management, Sustainability Training for Financial Services, ESG for Family Offices, Training programs to redevelop skills in tech-enabled financial services.
Global Compliance Solutions Singapore will be led by Stefan Ho, who brings over 20 years of financial services experience including working for institutions such as DBS bank, Standard Chartered, ABM AMRO, and ANZ Bank. His experience includes supporting family offices, independent asset managers, and fintech start-ups at all stages of growth. He will be responsible for driving the growth of Apex Group’s Compliance Solutions offering in the region.
The Global Compliance Solutions team will work closely with Apex Group’s Corporate Solutions experts to offer a fully integrated, single-source solution combining regulatory compliance with back office, bookkeeping and entity formation services, ensuring a seamless solution for clients, from licensing to full launch and ongoing support to businesses.
