Apex Group, the global financial service provider, has appointed Sonal Gokhale as Head Client Relationship Management for India. Sonal will lead the team in fostering long-term relationships with clients. Her responsibilities includes relationship management and assessment, identifying global growth and development opportunities, maintaining consistent communication and providing strategic advice on how Apex Group can support client’s growth plans through internal collaborations, and leveraging group’s synergies to ensure client satisfaction.
Based in Mumbai, this key strategic role marks yet another milestone in Apex Group’s mission to transform the financial services industry by driving growth with technology and people at its core.
In her most recent role at Axis Bank, Sonal served as Vice President of the Financial Sponsors Group, where she was instrumental in overseeing financial strategies, managing client relationships, and driving business growth within the sector. Her leadership and strategic vision significantly contributed to the group's success.
Prior to this, Sonal held the position of Commercial Product Head at Vistra for over a decade, wherein she was responsible for growing the Capital Markets & Private equity business in India and developed cross border product offerings to suite global clients looking for comprehensive solutions. Her role involved extensive market analysis, product innovation, and the implementation of effective marketing strategies to enhance the product offerings and customer satisfaction.
