John brings over 13 years of experience in the Fund Services industry, as a Member of the Executive Committee of the Singapore Fund Administrators Association (“SFAA”) and most recently as Managing Director, Singapore at Mainstream Group. John joined Mainstream Fund Services as a graduate and held a variety of fund services roles including portfolio valuation, unit pricing and performance measurement. John holds an Engineering degree and a Master of Business Administration majoring in finance.
This announcement follows the acquisition of Mainstream by Apex Group. As part of Apex, the former Mainstream business continues to provide fund administration and related services to over 1,400 funds and more than 189,000 investors with funds under administration in excess of AUD $295 billion. Mainstream’s acquisition by the Group has enabled clients to benefit from Apex’s global footprint; accessing new markets through the Group’s globally connected operating model and single-source client offering.
This strategic appointment is further evidence of Apex’s continued commitment to growth across the APAC region to provide clients with the broadest range of locally delivered solutions in the industry; across, fund administration, corporate solutions, financial solutions and ESG services.
Apex opened its first office in Asia in 2007 and now has seven offices across the region, over 400 employees in the APAC region and circa $70bn in regional AUA, making it one of the largest financial services providers in the region.
