Apex Foundation
The Apex Foundation is a charity set up to support charitable initiatives and projects that promote and make a difference to three key areas:
- The preservation, conservation and protection of the environment
- Women’s empowerment and economic independence
- Education and social mobility
The aims of the Apex Foundation are aligned with the personal priorities of Apex Group’s Founder and CEO, Peter Hughes, and our own CSR objectives as one of the largest global providers of financial services in our space to influence the flow of capital to causes that we truly believe in.
Recent donations made by the Apex Foundation include Blue Marine Foundation, CAMFED, EducAid, Malala Fund, Spotlight on Africa, Tusk Trust, WaterAid and WWF.

Our support of the Apex Foundation reinforces our commitment to having a genuine positive impact on the world, supplementing our previously announced corporate initiatives, including;
- launching our Women’s Accelerator Program and Women’s Accelerator Network
- announcing our partnership with SailGP the most sustainable sport on water
- Partnering with Treeapp to plant trees for every five years of employee service and new client contracts signed

Blue Marine Foundation
Blue Marine Foundation is a marine conservation organization dedicated to restoring the ocean to health by addressing overfishing.
CAMFED
CAMFED is an international non- governmental, non profit organization whose mission is to eradicate poverty in Africa through the education of girls and the emplowerment of young women.
EducAid
EducAid runs an educational network of free schools and school improvement projects, working on gender equality and improving community resilience.
Malala Fund
The Malala Fund advocates for girls' education by investing in girls' education programmes to help girls go to school and reach their full potential.
Tusk
Tusk Trust was set up to advance wildlife conservation across Africa. The charity funds the protection of African elephant, rhinoceros and lion, along with many other threatened species across Africa.
Water Aid
WaterAid is focused on water, sanitation and hygiene. Their mission is to equip people with sustainable clean water and decent toilets and hygiene education.
