Apex Hires Valerie Mantot-Groene as Head of APAC

Hong Kong: April 28, 2020 – Apex Group Ltd. (“Apex” or “the Group”) a global financial services provider, today announced the appointment of Valerie Mantot-Groene as Head of APAC.
The appointment closely follows the announcement from the Group last week on its expanded corporate solutions offering in APAC through obtaining a Trust and Corporate Services licence in Hong Kong. Apex opened its first office in Asia in 2007 and now has seven offices across the region, over 500 employees and circa $40bn in regional AUA alone, making it one of the largest financial services providers in the region.
Having led the APAC operation over the past 2.5 years delivering successful growth and expansion, Maggie Chan now hands over the reins to Valerie Mantot-Groene as she moves to pursue new avenues.
Mantot-Groene joins Apex from SANNE GROUP to continue leading the firm’s growth and performance across the APAC region. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Fund Solutions, Srikumar T.E., she brings more than 18 years’ experience in investment management. A qualified Lawyer with a broad ranging set of skills and experience, she is well positioned to lead Apex across APAC and continue to deliver its single-source message to the local market; across fund solutions, financial solutions and corporate solutions.
